General Information:  The Drone Competition brings the aerospace industry together to mentor students on how drones are used in the commercial and
military industry.  Drones are used for any things such as Mapping/Surveying, Inspection/Monitoring, Agriculture, Construction/Real Estate, and Transport

to name a few.

Drone Competition: Teams will produce a research paper on the different types of drones, how they are used in the commercial and military world, and
information on parts that are used to build them.  The team will also provide a presentation on their findings in front of ten of our aerospace industry partners.

Additionally, we will set up a caged, obstacle course for a drone race among the teams.  There will be recruitment of 10 teams with 5 students on a team.  Hosted

workshops will be accessible from November 2018 to February 2019 to prepare the students for the competition.  The top three teams will win a monetary gift
card for each team member.

-   Non-Members $150 per team


Schools:  Attendees will be among the Washington, DC, Maryland school system, and home schooled middle and high school students.
