General Information: This is our 14th year hosting the DOE Maryland Regional Middle School Science Bowl. The National Science Bowl is a nationwide academic competition where the students' are knowledgeable in all areas of science. Teams consist of four students and an alternate.
Program: The middle school Science Bowl is an academic math and science competition where students are quizzed in a fast paced questions-and-answers format similar to Jeopardy.

Business and government support:As the official Science Bowl Sponsors, Prince George's Community College will host the event. Patriots will provide breakfast and lunch and the guest speaker. Volunteers from various government agencies, industry and academia such as Legacy, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and the University of Maryland NSBE Collegian Chapter. Engineering Honor Society have participated as judges, moderators, timekeepers, and scorekeepers. Our volunteer partners have helped to make the Science Bowl a success.
