Patriots Annual Bio-Medical Competition
The Bio-Medical Competition provides students with the opportunity to learn about the five different Bio-Medical specialty areas. Students are to identify one specialty area. Those interested in the Bio-Medical field will discover many interesting career options that are available and the impact this field can have on the lives of their families, friends, and in their communities.
COMPETITION
Teams of three students will be required to present a maximum of a 2-page research paper on the different areas they will study in medical schools. Each team of four will select a specialty in one of the areas and provide a two-page research paper on the specialty and produce a poster board display of their findings, develop a website and a brochure, and provide an oral presentation before a panel of medical professionals.
PRIZES:
- 1st Place: $100 Gift Card
- 2nd Place: $50 Gift Card
- 3rd Place: $25 Gift Card
