Demo Play
The Patriots E-Sports League is on the road with League of Legends! The top E-Sports title allows players to take control of one of over 100 unique champions in this world, each with their own special abilities and magic! In this multiplayer online battle area, teams of 2 – 5 compete against each other to destroy the other’s base!
Outcome: Students will grow their skills in healthy communication, hand-eye coordination and motor functions, and team building! Students will be introduced to the topics of strategy-building and problem-solving.

The Patriots E-Sports League is on the road with Beat Saber! The virtual reality rhythm game places the player in a futuristic, neon world. Using their controllers, they have to slash the beat blocks of music as they come flying at you! Players can choose from over 130 songs, some even from official artists!
Outcome: Students will grow their skills hand-eye coordination and motor functions while learning exactly how virtual reality helmets operate technologically. Students will develop understanding of rhythm and become physically active.

The Patriots E-Sports League is on the road with Madden NFL 20! The hit sports simulation game allows players to take control of their favorite teams from the entire NFL and pit them against each other in football!

In partnership with local game development team JAK Elite Game Studios, LLC., they will provide presentations and demos of upcoming games, development software, and career opportunities in the development industry.
Outcome: Students will be introduced to skills such as object-oriented programming, 3D modeling & animation through key frames, and level design. Students will learn of the careers in the video game development industry.

It’s Flight Time! In this game, students will act as an air traffic controller in their day to day life. At an airport, students will learn how to take off and land as many planes as possible without crashing!

Edaphology is the branch of biology concerned with the effects of living organisms on soil conditions. In “Edaphos”, players start with barren lifeless dirt and transform it into a thriving ecosystem. Players will learn about problem-solving and sustainable ecosystems.

Chemistry Exploration
Developed with chemistry professor Nadene Houser-Archield, “Theory into Practice” is a game about qualitative analysis, the scientific process of performing experiments to identify unknown samples. This game teaches critical thinking and deductive reasoning.

This game is an introduction to nuclear chemistry, which deals with protons, neutrons, and electrons. Players are given information about the mass and charge of the 3 subatomic particles, and are then asked to identify various atoms and ions.

It’s all about STEM Careers in E-Sports! During this time, students will compete in teams and go around a room scanning different QR codes. Each QR code has a question and an answer about a STEM Career in E-Sports. The team answering all the questions right first wins!
